I found this interesting about "sink"

I assumed (incorrectly, it turns out) that Sink (←R) suppressed the result, i.e. "removed" the result entirely. But when I tried this:

Code: Select all

It obviously returned the result and assigned it to <a>. When I looked up Sink on the NARS2000 wiki http://wiki.nars2000.org/index.php/Sink, indeed it says "suppresses the display of R" (not suppresses the result). I found this interesting.

That's right. Each token has a NoDisplay flag that is set by "sink" and tested in the display function.
