Problems with (belgian) French azerty keyboard

PostPosted by ADel » Sun May 17, 2009 3:49 am

I am using a belgian French azerty keyboard.
Some characters are normally entered using a combination of keys:
either a dead key (for ^ and ¨) you first press the dead key and then the letter key on which you want the accent (ê= ^ e)
or you use AltGr + a key (this is the case for |@#{}[]´`~ further the three accents ´`~ are dead keys)

So with NARS I can not get the symbols from the key right of P (which is the dead key for ^¨)
I think I can get all other characters.

Is there any solution ?

Supporting additional keyboard layouts is in the cards, but it'll have to wait until sometime after I return from the London BAPLA meeting next month. On the other hand, this would be a great opportunity for someone else to contribute to NARS2000 development as I can't (and don't want to) do everything.
