Complex numbers and hyper-complex numbers can legitimately be only partially NaN.

So this is correct

9 11 ∘.○ ∅J1 1J∅
∅ 1
1 ∅

but these are not

9 ○ ∅J1 1J∅
∅J1 1J∅
11 ○ ∅J1 1J∅
∅J1 1J∅

Extracting the real and imaginary parts of a complex number with 9○ and 11○ must be additional exceptions to the general rule that most arithmetic on NaN's produces a NaN.
